Roasting Sesame (Throwback)

Love sesame fragrance, and its crunchiness as we bite. Smells more than peanut. This post is editing on how I love sesame seeds out of any nutty flavor delicacy. It goes well with porridge, plain rice, seaweed, noodle. It tastes like baby shrimp (as shrimp is expensive).

I love sesame. As it does.

I used to roast, dry-fry, toast it in the oven, put it into a huge jug. And then serve it to my every meal. Yum. It goes well with Thai chilies as well.

Setia Walk - Puchong Wawasan 大上海 Grand ShangHai, 豪大大鸡排Large Fried Chicken, 东京厨房Tokyo Kitchen

It had always been a hang out place while I was working around Puchong for previous years. Newly build, clean and not crowded are the points I love this place and it keeps changing. During before Christmas season, I was back to here and had a short walk around. It was not impressive due to the gloomy weather.

First of all, I was not suiting the environment in Malaysia while I just back from New Zealand. It is so hold and terribly hazy all around. Same to my housing area because of MRT construction is going on and unstable, uneven of housing and building development all around Klang Valley and it is totally making me so sick for this month.

Puchong has still some wonderful and clam places if we search in deep, unless, you will be stacked in LDP's car by car queue every morning or get yourself flooded to knee-level under IOI mall car park area. Thanks to those IOI development that brought so polluted air to the environment all that area. While people are coming settle their house in Puchong or in Klang Valley making a lot more congested.

An electric snowman in the fountain.

It did not blink in the day

I am so missing you my Salmon Fish.

This cost NZD4.99 in New Zealand. 1NZD=RM2.7(common)

It is lovable salt ever during our Working Holiday.

Here is the Grand Shanghai situated at the top floor of the Setia Mall. Well designed vintage atmosphere but still the same saying where this place is not crowded and many things are like working on process.

We did not spend our cash here as they are expensive as we thought. However, things and food are vary to search but price is not that low as impressive, food are generally found. If you expect to give yourself a good-pleasure-eating day, please try.

Large Fried Chicken on the same floor as Grand Shanghai which one piece of it costs around RM7 or RM14++ in a combo set. It tastes averagely good as I have long time since a year did not have such fried-up-spice piece of chicken. Yummy. But, it took time and some does not like the flour taste as it somehow tastes flour if uneven bites.

Special day and timing and we got Buy one get one free Starbucks Tiramisu and Vanilla without COFFEE. Can you imagine that we request them not to put any caffeine? Hahahahaha.

I had farewell dinner a year before exactly at this place and the food were so good. We came here during the normal working hour on a normal working day, expect no one will bother and disturb and we sat in really quite zone. Then we order the set lunch from the menu.

It was quite disappointing on Udon noodle soup taste not good and it was so lame.  I understand when it comes to the promotion timing especially set lunch menu, the restaurant should have no doubt on putting down its quality on food due to it is promotional food costs. Every meal should have equal treat regardless whether it is "cheap or expensive" timing.

My friend request to change the plain soup to curry soup from them, well they OK with it. But it is just a curry paste add on top of some miso-type soup. No sincerity of serving it.

Overall, the judgement to conclude this meal is " IT IS A LUNCH SET MEAL". Price is above cheapest, but food and quality is cheap.

However, I still love the environment here.
